This is my first card as the August Guest Designer for Priscilla Styles, Midnight Madness! Priscilla has the most fun sketches and you can also win prizes and awards for playing along! The first time I saw this sketch, I immediately thought of a quilt or baby blanket. So, for my card, I used some white and pink felt (my new obsession) and some polka dotted turquoise paper by Luxe Designs. Some Melissa Frances Rub-Ons and that gorgeous white resin frame. The pink flowers are by Maya Road. I did some hand stitching on the felt squares (my machine is going crazy!) and I added some buttons, hemp cord, heart shaped pearls by Hero Arts and just a pinch of glitter.

Butterfly Trails...A gift set!

Today is Jacksonbelle Tuesday!! And this week's Jacksonbelle challenge is to use Martha Stewart punches! Woo-Hoo! They are my favorite punches to use! So this was easy peasy!! :) You too can play along. You can use whatever punches you have, Martha or not! If uploading to SCS, please use keyword JBE065 or you can send a link to your card to the JBelle Blog!I made a quick and easy gift set. The whole thing took a little less than a hour to make. The patterned paper used is by Basic Grey called Admire from the Blush Collection. And of course, I used some Martha Stewart punches! I used the Scalloped Edge punch as well as the Small Butterfly Punch and the small Scalloped Circle punch to make the tag on the candle. I adhered some pearls to the center of the butterflies and I also used some felt ribbon by Creative Imaginations and some gingham ribbon. Finally!!

No projects to share with you today, but I'll have lots tomorrow! I just wanted to share something exciting, well to me it is anyway! :) I was supposed to have a couple of cards in some past issues of CardMaker Magazine, but they never made it in there yet! So I was kinda feeling a little bummed about it! Well, I just started reading the latest issue and I was about finished when I turned the page and saw something familiar! My card!! It is showing a preview of what the next issue will be about! So, yeah! My card will finally be in an Issue of CardMaker!! Woo-Hoo! Well, I hope so anyway! LOL Well, enough blowing my own horn! hehe

Oh, yeah and if you have kiddies who are obsessed with Thomas the Train, like my son is! It is all he talks about, plays with, dreams about, etc..I think he has almost every Thomas the Train and friends out there! You know how much scrappin' stuff I could get with that money!!LOL Well, anyway, if your kids love Thomas, if you ever get the chance to take them to see "Thomas. Live on Stage!" Make sure you do! It is really sweet and so much fun! Thomas is like a Rockstar to these kids! Holey Moley!! You should have heard them all screaming! And that was only when they heard him whistle! They hadn't even seen him yet!! LOL Here are a couple of pics form the show and my son, Antonio having a blast!!(He really was!)
