♥ Simon Says...We're Seeing Stars! ♥

Hope you all are enjoying your week so far! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we are...Seeing Stars! 

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Studio Calico. For my card, I chose the 6x6 Darling Dear Paper Pack and some of the Woodgrain Chipboard Stars. The little "Lucky Stars tag" is actually a snippet of one of the papers in the paper pack.

I also used some Medium sized pearls, some May Arts Natural twine and some seam binding.

♥ you are No 1...friend ♥

Happy TGIF! Hope you are enjoying your day so far! I had a few extra minutes (How did that happen?) to go up to my craft room and create something for fun! :) When I saw today's Free For All Challenge at SCS, I knew I wanted to make something for it! This week's challenge is to make a one layer card and then add embellishments. So only one layer of cardstock... no extra paper layers! One layer cards are always a challenge for me, so I was looking forward to getting out of my comfort zone for this one!

I stamped the background images onto a white cardstock base using the Bo Bunny Distressed Textures Clear Stamp Set. I used various colors of Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I then added some Prima Coffee Break Ephemera and Macchiato Flower. The stamped sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Words Clear Stamp Set. One of my favorite SSS stamp sets! I could use it over and over again! The gold sequins are also from the Prima Coffee Break Ephemera Pack.

♥ Thinking of You ♥

Hi everyone! Can you believe it is November already? Yikes! Christmas is right around the corner! :)

This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog is...Thinking of You! 

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Prima! I used lots of goodies from their Coffee Break line! For starters, I used the 4x6 Journaling Notecards for the base of my card. I then added some fun elements from the Ephemera pack as well as some Crochet Icons, Espresso flowers and a wooden Coffee Cup Stick Pin.

I also used some Prima Coffee Break Crystals and I coated the Wood Coffee Cup in some Prima Pink and White Art Sugar. The stamped "Thinking of You" is from the Simon Says Stamp Thinking of You Stamp Set.
