Babies, felt and buttons, oh my!

One of my favorite things to work with lately is felt. Especially on baby cards! Today is Jacksonbelle Tuesday and this week we have another fun sketch to play with! If uploading to SCS, please use keyword JBE062 or you can send a link to your card to the Jacksonbelle Blog!I decided to make 2 cards today, one for a girl and one for a boy. The first one for a girl is made with October Afternoon and Pink Paislee (the stamped star) papers. The stamp set used is by Lizzie Anne Designs called In the Nursery. I made the moon and white strip by cutting a thick piece of felt with fabric sheers. I painted the moon with some Sunny Shimmerz Paint and then added some hemp cord and buttons for the face.My next card was made with the same stamp set by Lizzie Anne. Papers are by October Afternoon. I framed the stamped image with some felt ribbon by Creative Imaginations. The cow and moon were "colored in" using some Shimmerz Paints in Angel Wings, Coal and Sunny. To finish off the card, I added a little chipboard heart, more felt ribbon, a heart button, hemp cord and a Melissa Frances Rub-On.All this week, over at the Jacksonbelle Store, all Daisy D's products are on sale!
