♥ Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit ♥

Happy Monday! Well, maybe not so happy but the April Card Kit, Celebrate by Simon Says Stamp will sure put a smile on your face! :) Love the bright colors of cardstock mixed with the Bazzill Kraft and gold papers! And it comes with some beautiful Washi Tape, star brads, rub-ons and of course, a fabulous SSS Clear Stamp Set.

Love that kraft and gold paper! And that beautiful Washi Tape!

For my second card, I used the polka dot kraft paper with the Doll Pink Cardstock and stamped some balloons. I embossed the YAY! with some Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder and Distress Embossing Ink Pad. I also added some May Arts Natural Twine to the balloons as well. The balloons were stamped in Audrey Blue, Mint and Doll Pink Inks by Simon Says Stamp.

Hurry up and grab your kit!! There are still some left! ;)

Have a wonderful day!

♥ A Krafty Valentine ♥

Happy Friday everyone! Just stopping in with a card for this week's Make it Monday Challenge over at The Kraft Journal. It is to make a Valentine using kraft. Usually when I make a card I like to use one main manufacturer but this card is kind of a Frankenstein card! A little bit of this and a little bit of that! :)

I used papers by Teresa Collins (Floral) and Doodlebug (blue and white polka dots). The chipboard hearts are from Crate Paper's Fourteen line. The Kraft cardstock can be purchased at The Kraft Outlet. I also used the A2 Bracket Borders One Dies by Spellbinders as well as some paper flowers, White Opal Liquid Pearls, lace and burlap trim.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!

♥ Simon Says...Get Krafty ♥

Happy Wednesday to you all! It's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want you to "Get Krafty" and Use Kraft!
This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Hero Arts! You don't have to use them to join in on the fun but if you have them, we would love to see them! I am using this cute "build a snowman" clear stamp set called Frosty Wishes. I just stamped the snowman, his face and hat using some Black StazOn on white cardstock and then cut them out. I did the same with the scarf and stick arms using Lipstick Red Ink by Simon Says and Walnut Stain by Ranger. The buttons were stamped in Caribbean Blue Ink by Simon Says and the carrot nose was colored in with the Spiced Marmalade Distress Marker by Tim Holtz. I filled in the snowman's body with some Glossy Accents and then some Chunky White Glitter.

I also used some Kraft Cardstock by Hero Arts, some Medium White Pearls also by HA and some Twine by Lawn Fawn. I "shaded" the kraft cs with some Frost White Ink to give the card front a frosty look.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Have you seen the new Simon Says Stamp Store Website?? You can see it for yourself HERE! Happy Shopping!! :)

Hope you have an amazing day!

♥ Simon Says...Get Krafty ♥

Hi there everyone! It's that time again...time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want you to get "Krafty"! We want to see kraft cardstock or "kraft" color on your cards!
This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Memory Box! I chose the cute Hugs and Kisses Die and the Filled With Love Stamp for my card. That die is so sweet with all of the X's and O's and little hearts. And since they die cut separately, you can arrange them any way you like! And the stamp is perfect too. It is a wooden stamp and in addition to the sentiment, there is a little heart stamp on the end of the stamp itself. So cute!

I also used some kraft cardstock called Desert Storm by Neenah, some mini clear sequins, Large Heart Dies by Simon Says Stamp, some May Arts Natural Twine,  Burlap,  white lace and a Maya Road Natural Wood Button.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Before I go, I want to introduce you to the newest member of our family! Portia!

A week ago, my husband and our 7 yr old went to Pet Smart to buy some fish food. While they were there, Antonio wanted to go and see the cats. Right before they got there, Portia was brought in by her foster mom to be put up for adoption. Immediately a bond was formed between the 2 of them. Well, all last week, my kids and myself included, kept asking (bothering!) my husband to go and get the kitten. He kept saying no! Well, little did we know my super sweet husband went back to Pet Smart that day (he told me he was going to the gym!) and filled out the adoption papers! There were 5 other people after us who filed the papers for her, as well, just that day alone! Luckily, we were able to bring her home on Sunday! She is almost 4 months old and the most lovable and friendly kitten/cat I have ever seen! She is unbelievable! She is a beautiful taupe color and pure white, super soft and has a bushy tail like a squirrel! I finally have another girl in the house besides me! ;) Here they are getting to hold her for the first time. Life is good! ♥

Have a sweet day!
