♥ a special gift ♥

Hi! Well, my little one is now walking up a storm! He wants to walk all the time, everywhere he goes. We just walked halfway home from the bus stop, sending my other angel off to kindergarten. I had to pick him up halfway, because if I didn't we would probably get home around midnight! And it's only right down the street! haha But all kidding aside, it's the simple things in life that really just melt your heart. Just watching him laugh and giggle because he can finally walk down the sidewalk, like his big brother, is all I needed to make my day! What a special gift. ♥

This is a card I made using the new Sidewalks line from October Afternoon. What a sweet collection! I used some papers, journaling cards and chipboard from the line.

I also used some punched butterflies, seam binding, Liquid Pearls, button, pink gem chain and lots of chunky glitter.

I was inspired to make the card as soon as I saw the current Play Date Cafe challenge. What a beautiful inspiration board! And not to mention those colors are right up my crafting alley! You have until tonight to join the challenge!

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs...
