♥ hello friend ♥

♥♥♥ For today's Simon Says Stamp post, please scroll down! Thank you! ♥♥♥

Hello friend.

Stopping in with a shabby chic card for ya! Here is a fun card I made with some beautiful Farmhouse papers by October Afternoon. Love these papers! That beautiful silhouette image is from The Graphics Fairy.

I also used some vintage trim, lace, buttons, mini roses, wooden spool, glitter, thread and a Jenni Bowlin stick pin. All on a kraft cardstock base.

I used the fabulous sketch over at Totally Papercrafts for this card.

And I was also inspire to make this by this week's City Crafter Challenge, Back to Black. It is to use a black silhouette image on your card.

And also this week's challenge at The Kraft Journal is to use your favorite colors. Love kraft, cream, pink and blue together!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I really appreciate all your sweet comments! Don't forgot to check back in on the 18th! It's my 40th Birthday! And I'll be celebrating it all with you with another BIG giveaway!

Bye for now friend!

♥ A Shabby Thanksgiving ♥

That is the name of this week's theme at The Shabby Tea Room...A Shabby Thanksgiving. It is to create a card or project using the colors blue, yellow, brown and neutrals inspired by the inspiration photo. (see below)

I made my card with a free printable graphic from The Graphics Fairy. I paired it with some blue seam binding, Prima trim and Liquid Pearls. And to finish it off, I used a Melissa Frances rub-on transfer and some fabric leaves.

This week's winner of this challenge will win 5 digi images of your choice from our sponsor, Robyn's Fetish!

Here is the sweet inspiration photo~

♥ A Vintage Birthday ♥

When I saw this week's color challenge over at the CR84FN Challenge Blog, I knew I had to play along! I also wanted to make a birthday card for my local scrapbook store's NSD birthday card challenge over at their blog, Random Flutters from Paper Wings. So I decided to combine the 2.
I used a vintage label from The Graphics Fairy, some Prima and Martha Stewart flowers, MS punched butterflies, Liquid Pearls in Platinum and Fuchsia, buttons, Melissa Frances rub-on transfers and some sheer hot pink ribbon.

Here is the CR84FN27 color challenge inspiration photo:

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs...

♥ So {Shabby} Sweet! ♥ MOJO181

Tomorrow is my son Antonio's 5th Birthday...where does the time go! It feels like yesterday. He is super excited to be bringing cupcakes into school for all his friends to share. And we will be watching the Sprout channel tomorrow to look for his birthday card that mommy made him. Hopefully it will make it on the air. {It has the last 2 years!} Then on Sunday all of the family will be coming over to help him celebrate! I wish I could find a magic potion though, to keep him at this age! Anyone have any?? :) Here he is in his karate uniform last week after he got it! He was so happy!
I love this vintage french Chocolate label! It can be used for so many different things. And you can download it for free too! Just visit The Graphics Fairy HERE! LOVE this blog!
I also used some papers by The Girls' Paperie, a tea stained hear doily and roses by The Little Pink Studio, Maya Road chipboard, mini handmade tag, seam binding ribbon, Melissa Frances resin key and rub-ons and pearls.
I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I turned it around a bit. But what a fun sketch!
I was also inspired by the following challenges:

Paper Play Challenges: Shabby Chic/Vintage
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Pink Polka Dots
♥ And this beautiful inspiration photo from Off the Wall Craftiness!
Have a wonderful day!

Hugs...
