Don't forget to tell the people close to you how much you love them and appreciate them! Have a great weekend everyone!! ♥
Heartfelt Hugs,

Isn't this the cutest little house! This was the free digi stamp last week from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff! It is called Primitive House and Fence! This week a new free digi stamp is out there somewhere! All you have to do is visit the other LSS DT members, listed below, to find it! And don't forget to visit Lindsay's Digi Stamp Store! All Digi Stamps are only $1!!
Another quickie post today! We have a storm coming, so I want to get out and clean the pool before it starts! Don't you just love mid-afternoon Summer storms!! I do, especially when it's enough to water my flowers, so I don't have to! ;)
On the Lady Bug Ride with his cousins....
Sharing an ice cream with daddy...
On the Swings...
Before we went home, we stopped at the Indian Echo Caverns. An underground cave..so cool!
A little pool of water inside the caves...
And then we went to the Amish Country for dinner. It still amazes me to see them riding their horse and buggies on busy highways!
I used Pink Paislee's Spring Fling line on mine. I also used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder on the white cardstock base, a crocheted flower, that can be purchased HERE at the Jacksonbelle Store, a Melissa Frances rub-on, some felt, which I cut the heart out of, a button and some hemp cord and satin ribbon.

So, if you get a chance sometime this weekend, stop by Splitcoaststampers for some fun challenges!!
Isn't that the truth! Home is that special place that always makes you feel warm, at ease, safe and comfy...I just love our home. Especially since we had our little pumpkin..it now feels complete! When I first saw this cute tree digi stamp by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, I thought "how comfy that owl looks to be in his home"! I colored in the tree with some Copics and then added the buttons where there are actually circles. So the circles could be colored in to look like apples, but I decided to make a tree that grows buttons! hehe The polka dot paper is by Luxe Designs, the rub-on by Melissa Frances, butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and the felt ribbon is by Creative Imaginations.
Just a quick post today! Off to run some errands! Just wanted to show you a couple of cards I made for some recent SCS challenges. This first card is for today's Sketch Challenge. What a fun sketch, so many possibilities! I used my favorite combo lately....Kraft paper and turquoise! The turquoise polka dot paper is by Luxe Designs and the striped paper is by My Mind's Eye. The stamps are by Lizzie Anne Designs, In the Nursery, which I colored in with Shimmerz Paints. I finished it off with some Martha Stewart ribbon, buttons and hemp cord.
This next card was for Monday's Try a New Technique Challenge, to use fabric on your card. I stamped the little girl first onto a piece of white fabric, then trimmed out only the dress. I then colored it in with Copics and then Shimmerz Paints in opal and Sunny. I then adhered the fabric dress over another stamped image of
the girl on cardstock. The stamp set used is by Pink Persimmon called Little Red Wagon. Papers used are by Making Memories and October Afternoon. I finished this off, with some more green fabric as grass, gingham ribbon, a Melissa Frances Rub-on, a button and some hemp cord.
For my card I used an Inkadinkado stamp, which by the way, here is more good news!! All this week at the Jacksonbelle Store, all Inkadinkado is on sale for 25% off!! Woo-Hoo! Ok, back to the card!! I colored in the image using all three of the above mentioned new Shimmerz colors, which I'm sure Lindsey will have in her STORE soon! And I also used some Angel Wings Shimmerz on the clouds and on
the October Afternoon striped paper. The chipboard shell and starfish is by Melissa Frances, which I also painted with Shimmerz, as well as the rub-on.
Now let's go and see what the rest of the fabulous JBelle Rockstars have created for ya!
Today on the Shimmerz Blog, we will be showcasing some projects that the DT recently made with Flourishes stamps! Yup, Shimmerz and Flourishes did a little swap of products and we on the Shimmerz team got to play with these AWESOME stamps! I
just L~O~V~E Flourishes! Their stamps have such great detail to them and they are just the cutest! So if you have time, please stop by the Shimmerz blog today and show us some support and lovin'! ;)
I decided to make a Birthday Gift Set with my All Wrapped Up stamp Set by Flourishes and of course, some beautiful Shimmerz Paints! I first stamped the presents twice with black Staz-On, colored them in with Copics, then applied some Shimmerz paints over the coordinating colors. (I used Pixie Dust, Pink Poinsettia, Hotty Pink and Wintergreen Blingz, Opal, Candle Light and Sunny Shimmerz
and Cotton Candy and Baby's Breath Spritz.) I then trimmed them out with little scissors and/or a craft knife, just cutting out the bows on the second images. I then adhered the bows with some mini pop-dots.
everything. The gift card holder is actually a paper towel roll, which I cut into the right size, flattened it out, and hot glued the bottom to make the pocket. I then adhered the white cardstock to the front and back. It makes for a nice and sturdy holder and it's "green". Hope you enjoyed everything!
Shimmerz Paints are releasing some new yummy colors just in time for Summer! Just look at their names! Caribbean Sunset Spritz, Tickle Me Turquoise Shimmerz, Jilted Jade Shimmerz and Island Salsa Blingz! Look at these beautiful colors!! Aren't they so tropical looking?!! It makes me want to hop on a plane and go to an Island somewhere, anywhere!! They will be released this coming Tuesday, July 21st! So come back here and on the Shimmerz blog for a project or two made using them!
