Petite Looking Glass Frame Card

Hi there! Stopping in today with another card I made using some fabulous Dies and Glimmer Plates from Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. For today's card, I started by using the Petite Looking Glass Frame Glimmer Plate along with the Prism Hot Foil onto a piece of blue cardstock. I then die cut it out using the Tiffany Lavaliere Etched Dies. I finished it off with some satin ribbon, lots of pearls and a vintage button. The tag and sentiments are from the Graceful Tiny Tag Stamp and Die Set.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Crowned Rimmed Squares

Happy Saturday to you!! I hope you are enjoying Summer so far! The kids last day of school was Thursday so we are just getting into the Summer vibe! :)

I'm stopping in today with a super glimmer card to share with you. I used the new Crowned Rimmed Squares Glimmer Plates by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. Just look at all those shimmery colors you get with the Hot Foil. I used the Starburst Hot Foil on the card. These square Glimmer Plates can go with so many different Dies and other Glimmer Plates as well. I am using them with the Adoria Square Etched Dies.

Have a wonderful weekend!

AMAZING PAPER GRACE JUNE DIE OF THE MONTH BLOG HOP

Oh my! This is one gorgeous and versatile Die! Definitely one you want to have in your collection, for sure!! It's great to use as a pocket, corner accent or stacked up like I did to make a shadowbox-type frame. The possibilities are endless! Not to mention, it's just a beautiful set of Dies!

If you missed the introduction and want to know more about what inspired the Die of the Month Club, look ------->HERE.

My First Project Today:

I made a shadowbox frame with the smaller Die by stacking them up 4x on each corner with some foam dots between each layer.

Love the intricate cuts in these Dies. So beautiful!

I finished off the frame by adding the larger die from the Adoria Square Etched Dies to the top and then added lots and lots of pearls, flowers ribbon and stamped sentiment by Penny Black.

For my Next Project, I made a "pocket card". This can be used to not only add a written note to the card inserted into the pocket but you can also add money or a gift card as well. I used the larger Die as the backdrop to my card. The smaller Die acts as a accent piece as well as helps to hold in my card.

I like this idea for a Wedding card. I would put the card into a flat square box and also decorate it with these Dies. It would make a very pretty presentation.

More inspiration is just a click away.  Stop by with each Creative Team Member to see how they manipulated this die to come up with a unique project for you to try!

Introducing Royal Flourish | Card and Box Ensembles

Glimmeristas, I hope you are ready for more Glimmer Fun!!!  We have a new mini collection we are introducing today called Royal Flourish.   With two card fronts as well as an oval border shape and square border shape - we'll have some stash-worthy things for you to look at.    We thought it would be fun to make a card and a matching box using some of our favorite die sets and the new Royal Flourish Glimmer Plates.  It's easy to do and is a show stopper when we need to give a gift.

Inspiration for Royal Flourish

Have you ever noticed during period dramas like Game of Thrones that the Royalty each have their own insignia and way of writing? It's so cool and really fascinating that these things mattered to them.  There was actually a lot of thought and flair behind the written word.   It’s really no different today; we all have our own flourishes of style that we lay down to call things our own.  It was this spirit of honing a style that Becca said provided the inspiration for Royal Flourish.  Glimmer is such a lovely way to add rich detail and embellishment!
We've been especially loving using borders with glimmer.  For this collection, Becca created two border sets that you can cut with Hemstitch Squares and Hemstitch Ovals.   Card fronts that can take a sentiment seem to be the favorite, so happily there are two details plates that will make lovely frames to your favorite sentiments.

My Projects For Today:

I'm happy to introduce GLP-129 The Contessa's Seal Panel

With it being Graduation Season, I wanted to make a card, gift box and little gift bag with this fabulous plate. Such a beautiful design.

I added the panel to the top of the box and folded it down the front and back as well as I cut some pieces and added them along the bottom of the box as well.

Lastly, I made a sweet little gift bag. I used the Favorably Simple Gift Box Dies along with the glimmer plate.

These plates are available right now on the Spellbinders website —–>HERE
