♥ Merry Christmas with BLING! ♥

♥ Happy 1 week before Christmas Day! Can you believe it? Wow, this year went fast!! I hope that you all have a lovely Christmas, in case I don't get back on here!! And I hope Santa is good to you all! But most importantly, let's not forget the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you all and Merry Christmas! ♥

It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

This week's challenge is all about the Bling! We want to see anything sparkly...glitter, gems, stickles, glimmer sprays, paints, etc. And since next week is Christmas, this challenge will run for 2 weeks and we will have 2 winners of the $50 Vouchers to the Simon Says Stamp Store!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing exclusive products by Simon Says Stamp! There are so many yummy new goodies by Simon Says Stamp for the Holidays. Have you seen the new Valentine's Day products that are out? They are gorgeous!!

For my card, I used the Kate Snowflake Die, the Christmas Clear Stamp Set and the White Woodgrain and Khaki (Kraft) Cardstocks are all exclusively sold by Simon Says Stamp! Can you tell how much I love that snowflake die? I've used it a lot lately! :)

For the base of the card, I used Spellbinders Filigree Delight Nestabilities Dies. I adhered white glitter over the entire die cut base as well as the snowflakes. The gorgeous Silver glitter tape is by Kelly Purkey.  I finished it off with some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give 2 random winners of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ Frosty Fun ♥

Hi there! Sorry for my absence lately. I had the yucky flu. :(  I still feel kind of bad but better than last week that's for sure. Boy, it really got me good! I was scheduled to get my flu shot last week, go figure! And on top of the flu, I got Pink Eye and Acid Reflux!! I know I will be 42 next month, but really?! I feel like I'm falling apart at the seams! hehe Oh, well, on to my card...

Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme is called "Let it Snow"! It's all about snowflakes, snowman, snowy scenes, etc.

For my card, I used papers from both the Glistening 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique and the music paper is from the Merry Little Christmas Paper Pad by Fancy Pants Designs. I love the Spellbinders Venetian Motifs Dies. They remind me of a big snowflake and blowing snow!

I also used the Kate Snowflake Die exclusively by Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is from the Frosty Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C.Designs. I finished it off with lots of White Glitter, twine and Pearls.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Have a wonderful day!

♥ Ice Skate Tag ~ Tim Holtz Style! ♥

Hi there! Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

It's Anything Goes! Any type of paper craft will do!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Tim Holtz/Ranger! (My favorite!) I decided to make a tag this week since it was TH week!! I used the super fun Ice Skate Sketch Stamp as well as the Ice Skates Stamp from the Old Fashioned Christmas set.

I first colored the white tag with various Distress Inks. I then used the Falling Snow Stencil by Simon Says Stamp after the inks were dry. I just simply rubbed a white ink pad over the stencil to faintly give a little snow to the tag. I then stamped the Ice Skates stamp in Black Soot ink. I then added the Ice Skate Sketch to the tag using a brad. I added some White Glitter to the skate and also some Kate Snowflakes and White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I finished off the tag with some hand dyed seam binding and a gem.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

To everyone here in the U.S. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow! Don't eat too much turkey!!

Have a wonderful week!

♥ Simon Says...Use Heather's Sketch! ♥

Woo-Hoo! We have reached the middle of the week! Weekend here we come! And that also means that it's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This time we have a fabulous sketch by our own super talented (and sweet) Heather!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Jane's Doodles and/or Authentique! I chose to use the Glistening 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique. It has so many fun and pretty papers including that vintage image you see on my card.

I also used the Kate Snowflake Die an exclusive by Simon Says Stamp. LOVE this Die!! I also used the Frosty Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs. I finished it off with some White Opal Liquid Pearls and some White Glitter.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ JustRite Friday Challenge #110 ♥

Hi there! I hope you all are having a wonderful day so far! Just stopping in with a card I made for the current JustRite Friday Challenge, Bleach Stamping Technique. This is not the first time I have done this technique and it is really fun and easy. It makes a card look very different and unique. You can find the tutorial on it HERE.

I used JustRite's The Scoop Vintage Labels Four Clear Stamp Set for my card. I first stamped the Vanilla Label onto a piece of black cardstock using embossing ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then "colored" the image with some bleach and a brush. The bleach against the black cardstock gives it a cool, aged look.

I then stamped the cone in 2 parts. First I stamped the bottom cone part onto a piece of kraft paper using Tea Dye Distress Ink. I then heat embossed that with clear embossing powder. I then colored in the image with bleach and then used some Distress Markers to finish the cone. I then stamped the ice cream part of it onto a piece of pink cardstock using clear embossing ink and then heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. I then "colored" that in with bleach and then left it like that. The pink cardstock shows on the "edges" and the white part is bleached. Looks really cool irl! :)

There is still plenty of time for you to join this challenge and try a new technique or 1 you haven't done in a while! Just visit the JustRite Inspiration Blog!!

Have a "Sweet" Day!
