A Card for Mom ♥A Shabby, Colorful Tuesday Trigger♥

Spring is finally here. And when I think of Spring I think of open windows...the first blooms of flowers...butterflies and of course Mother's Day. So all that inspired me to make this card. As well as some awesome challenges out there from The Shabby Tea Room (Spring inspired and faux stitching on your card), The Play Date Cafe (awesome colors shown below) and finally this week's Tuesday Trigger from the Moxie Fab World Blog (photo inspiration below).
When a child is born, so is a Mother. What a beautiful saying, isn't it? And so true too! Mother's Day will be here soon, so I decided to get a jump start on some Mother's Day cards. I am making them for the special women in my life, especially my Mom, of course. This is one of them.I used some gorgeous paper from Prima from the Pastiche Collection, some chipboard pieces which I painted and then glittered or faux stitched, ribbon, crocheted lace, a button, hemp cord, flower gems and a Melissa Frances Rub-On.I hope you all have a wonderful day today! Enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. (hopefully it is beautiful by you!)

♥ The Wedding Gown ♥

Wedding season is just around the corner! So I decided to make a wedding card using today's Sketch Challenge over at SCS. I love today's sketch!

I used a stamp by Stamping Bella called Wedding Gown Circle, which I stamped twice, cut out the bow and adhered it over the 1st image. I then added some pink tulle over the dress {which I adhered under the bow}. I then colored in with some Copics and added some glitter. I also used some sheer pink ribbon, a Melissa Frances Rub-On, some heart gems, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and some cut out paper by SEI which was white. I "painted" it pink with a ink pad and then added some glitter to it. I hope you like it!!

It is in the 60's here today, so my son and I will be out enjoying this beautiful day! I hope you enjoy your day too!

Hugs...

P.S. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Home and Heart.... ♥ICS #57♥

This card was made for a customer of mine, to go along with a frame I made for her. {Hi Dee Dee! I hope you like it!} I used this week's sketch from the Inspirational Card Sketches blog. What a simple yet beautiful sketch!
I used some plain old white cs and distressed the edges a little bit. Then I added some polka dotted paper by Luxe Designs, some pink gingham ribbon, a wooden heart that I "inked" in mauve, a Melissa Frances Rub-On, pearl gem and a house cut out by Fancy Pants.

I'll be back soon with another FUN giveaway!!

Have a wonderful night!!

Easter Centerpiece....Bunny Time!

Ahh! Spring is in the air...Easter is right around the corner...warm temps are coming...the smell of Easter chocolate and jelly beans...pastel colors. Love it! I love winter, but this past one was a doozy! 3 feet of snow and I'm done! Bring on the SUN!!

Here is a centerpiece I was working on for my dining room table for Easter. As I was almost finished I realized there was something missing. And then I went and checked out today's Try a New Technique over at SCS. It was to make your own designer paper. So I decided to make a little tag/sign for my centerpiece. I first used my Labels 4 die (large one) in my Cuttlebug. Then I inked a little bunny stamp from We R Memory Keepers with some mauve colored ink and then "stamped" it onto my glue pad, so I had some color and it was "sticky". Then stamped it onto my paper and then added some glitter. I did the same with the little egg stamp from Inque Boutique. Then added the "Easter Bunny" stamp. The rest of the centerpiece consists of a glass tray, mini glass vases, some Easter pics, big Bunny stamp, pearls, ribbons, flowers, glitter and some Easter Egg jelly beans
I hope you like it! I'll be back soon!! Have a great day!

♥ MOJO128♥ 4 ever and always...

This card is for this week's sketch over at the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog. What a fun sketch. I just had to make a card right away with these gorgeous papers and adhesive chipboard by Prima called Flights of Fancy, as soon as I received them! They are right up my alley! ;) I also used some Melissa Frances Rub-Ons, some Inque Boutique Butterfly Stamps, Prima Crystals, Hero Arts heart gems and some crocheted ribbon. The crocheted ribbon is actually a light beige color but it didn't show up against the paper, so I "dipped" it into some Pink Poinsettia Shimmerz paint and then sprinkled a little bit of white ultra fine glitter over it while wet. It added just the right color and bling.

Then I made a little matching tin watering can with the crocheted ribbon, satin ribbon, Prima chipboard, another IB Butterfly stamp, buttons and of course more glitter!
Head on over to the Mojo blog for some great inspiration and sketches! And you just might win some yummy Verve stamps of your choice!

Oh, how good it feels to be crafting again!!

Have a great day!!

Hugs...
