♥ Diamonds...pearls...hearts...love! ♥

I ♥ this week's challenge over at the Papercraft Star Challenge blog! It is a fabulous sketch! I had so much fun with this one, that I made 2 cards with it.
This first one is my favorite! I love all the pearls and "diamond" hearts. (Which I pain stakingly put on 1 by 1! Whew!) I used some beautiful papers by Making Memories, Graphic 45 and Creative Imaginations. Also some Prima and Martha Stewart flowers, MS punched butterflies, a small wooden heart drenched in pink candy glitter, pink satin ribbon and a Melissa Frances rub-on.
On the second card I used some Echo Park and Making Memories papers, Little Yellow Bicycle cut-out Lollipop, which I added some pink trim to, a Making Memories gem frame, red ribbon, a Melissa Frances rub-on and some felt hearts and a pearl heart.
Here is the awesome sketch:
I am also using this week's Tuesday Trigger from the Moxie Fab World blog for the 1st card. What a gorgeous photo! I was inspired by those candy hearts...hence my pink candy coated wooden heart!
I am also entering the 1st card into the following challenges:

~ City Crafter Challenge Blog: All you need is Love
~ Flutter By Wednesday: Anything Goes (with a butterfly!)
~ Crazy 4 Challenges: C4C72 Shabby Chic
~ {Cupcake Inspirations}: Challenge 96 This yummy inspiration photo!
The 2nd card I am also entering into this week's Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings challenge, Pink, Red and White theme.

Have a great day! Oh, and I will be having a great giveaway soon! ;)

A Card for Mom ♥A Shabby, Colorful Tuesday Trigger♥

Spring is finally here. And when I think of Spring I think of open windows...the first blooms of flowers...butterflies and of course Mother's Day. So all that inspired me to make this card. As well as some awesome challenges out there from The Shabby Tea Room (Spring inspired and faux stitching on your card), The Play Date Cafe (awesome colors shown below) and finally this week's Tuesday Trigger from the Moxie Fab World Blog (photo inspiration below).
When a child is born, so is a Mother. What a beautiful saying, isn't it? And so true too! Mother's Day will be here soon, so I decided to get a jump start on some Mother's Day cards. I am making them for the special women in my life, especially my Mom, of course. This is one of them.I used some gorgeous paper from Prima from the Pastiche Collection, some chipboard pieces which I painted and then glittered or faux stitched, ribbon, crocheted lace, a button, hemp cord, flower gems and a Melissa Frances Rub-On.I hope you all have a wonderful day today! Enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. (hopefully it is beautiful by you!)

A Good Home.. ♥Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger♥

This is my first time playing along with the Tuesday Trigger Inspiration photo on the Moxie Fab World Blog. As soon as I saw this lovely photo, I thought of my favorite green gingham ribbon. So I just had to play along!!
Here is my card. It uses some stamps by Flourishes from a set called Summer on the Patio. Ahh! What a great name with Spring right around the corner!! Yippee! I also used some pretty new paper by American Crafts, a Melissa Frances Rub-on, crocheted ribbon and some flower gems.
I will be back, as promised with some photos of my Craft Studio and some springy cards. Have a wonderful and blessed day!!
