♥ Simon Says...Use Your Favorite Technique and/or Product ♥

Hi there! It's time for a brand new challenge over at the amazing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is to make a card using your FAVORITE TECHNIQUE and/or PRODUCT!
This week the Simon Says DT are featuring products by Ranger! Anyone who knows me knows my FAVORITE ALL-TIME PRODUCT is White Opal Liquid Pearls! Well any color Liquid Pearls but white is usually my go to. The BEST product ever made in my opinion! :) And my FAVORITE TECHNIQUE is Distressing! Whether it's with inks or a Paper Distresser Tool, I love to distress!

I used Walnut Stain and Tea Dye Distress Inks to "age" my Prima Finnabair papers, using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. The papers already come distressed but when you cut them down to size 2 of the edges aren't distressed any longer and these inks match up perfectly. To color my seam binding ribbon, I sprayed it with both the Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass Distress Sprays. (Another FAVE Product of mine!) After it dried, I rubbed the Tea Dye Ink Pad over the ribbon a little to add some aging to it.

To finish up the card, I used some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to some Prima Opuscule and Bulbe Flowers. The "Brick Wall" panel is actually part of the packaging from the flowers. (ANY Prima Product is also a fave of mine too! Even the packaging! ;) The butterflies are from the Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly Punch.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ Simon Says...Friends or Superhero ♥

Hello! Hope you are enjoying your day so far!! It's Wednesday!! And that means it's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is...Friend or Superhero!
This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Mama Elephant! I chose to use the Lots of Stars Die for my card. I die cut the stars using some White Cardstock. Then using the Zen Mini Ink Pad Set by Simon Says, I rubbed the ink pads over the stars to color them. Then I used some Tombow Glue to adhere them to the cardstock panel which I paper pierced.

I also used the Bundle of Stitched Shapes Die Set and the Lots of Thanks Handwritten Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp. The Moonshine Sequins are also by Simon Says as well.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ iralamija shop Design Team! ♥

I'm so excited to finally be able to say that I am a part of the First Design Team for the iralamija shop!

The iralamija shop has the most beautiful digital collages around! And I am so looking forward to creating with them! After they are printed out they look exactly like a fine patterned paper. Only with these, you can re-size them to any size that you like using any photo editing type software. They can be distressed if you like just like any other patterned paper. :) Oh, and did I mention they are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

This is a card I made a couple of weeks ago with some of her newer collages. The base paper is from the Wood Floral Background Collage. Gorgeous!!

The sweet butterflies are from the Shabby Butterflies Collage. I also used the Journal De Paris Collage which comes with 12 different stunning images.

And the strips of papers (banners) are from the Romantic Backgrounds Collage.

Thanks again to Bety for having me be a part of your team! So happy! :)

Enjoy your day!
