♥ Pearls, Foil and Shimmer, Oh my! ♥

Hi there! Stopping in today with a super elegant yet easy to make Foil card. I used a fabulous Hot Foil Plate and Die Set by Amazing Paper Grace along with the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System.

I simply foiled the base of my card using the Elegant Square Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and the Matte Gold Foil. I then fussy cut the medium size swirl image and adhered that to the center. I then added the smaller image to the center of the last one using some foam dots for dimension. I then die cut a Hemstitch Square (Love this Die Set!) and adhered that using foam dots. I then added little pearls around it. Then I finished it up with a bow and a few more pearls. Simple, easy but yet very elegant. Can be used for a number of different occasions.

You can find all of Becca's fabulous Hot Foil plates HERE and all of her amazing Dies HERE!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

♥ Merry Christmas ♥

I can't believe it is exactly a week from Christmas Eve! How come the older you get, the faster time goes?? Crazy, right?! Today, I wanted to share a super shiny and easy card I made with the Glimmer Hot Foil System from Spellbinders and some beautiful Glimmer Hot Foil Plates.

The red foil on the base of the card is the Elegant Rectangle Glorious Glimmer Plate by Amazing Paper Grace. I then die cut in gold the Braided Grace Square Etched Die and placed it over top using some foam dots. I then added the Merry Christmas Holiday Glimmer Plate over that also using some foam dots. That plate also comes with the matching die so it can be easily trimmed out. I used the Green, Red and Gold Foils which can be purchased separately or in the Holiday Variety Pack that also comes with Silver Foil.

What a fun machine to use! You can find all of the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Plates, Foil and Machine HERE!

Have an amazing day!

♥ Glimmer Foil Thank You ♥

Thank You season is almost here! Well it is around here anyway! We all send out Thank you cards after Christmas for all of the gifts that we receive, as well as, throughout the year. So we can never have enough of them! I wanted to make some quick and easy ones to have on hand. So I broke out the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and a couple Amazing Paper Grace Hot Foil Plates to make some shimmery Foiled Thank you cards. I used the Elegant Rectangle Foil Plate and the Elegant Foil Seals Plates by Becca. She also made Elegant Monograms Plates that you could use instead of the Seals, so you can make monogrammed Thank you's, if you wish.

I went and took this picture outside to show you just how much shimmer these foils have! So beautiful! You can find all of Becca's fabulous plates HERE!

Have a wonderful day!

AMAZING PAPER GRACE DECEMBER DIE OF THE MONTH BLOG HOP

Good morning!!  Every month we'll be bringing you inspiration for the Die of the Month; today is our Die of the Month Blog Hop!!   The Die of the Month is like a "Swiss army knife"  you can manipulate it to do a variety of things.  At the very least you can do a card and normally you can use the pieces and parts for cards and other 3D items.  The Creative Team has joined in for everyone to give you their spin, in their style.  We hope you'll see something that resonates and inspires you.

If you are new to our blogs, the Die of the Month is an exclusive die Becca has designed for Spellbinders - it is called Softly Spoke'n Flip and Gatefold Die.  This particular set has 9 dies and they can be used to make a background, a gatefold card, a tent card and the individual dies in the set can be used for many things.

My First Project:

I made a sweet little basket using this amazing Die set. I simply cut out 2 of the larger die cuts using the insert on just 1 side of each die cut. (I also cut a 2nd die cut using gold paper and adhered it, offset, behind the original die cut.) I then folded them and attached them to each other on the bottom with some adhesive. I then cut the side panels by just measuring the width of the basket but left a 1/8" on both sides. I then scored a 1/8" line on each side and adhered those "tabs" to the inside of the basket. So easy and fun to make! These are great to hold candy, a gift card, money or would make great favor holders for a wedding.

My Second Project:

I made a card using the die as the top layer to the front of my card. Easy peasy! Such a lovely die!!

I adhered the die cut using some pop dots to give the card depth. This fabulous Die set can be used for so many things and so many different ways! Love it!!

♥ Glimmer Foil Flowers ♥

Hello there. Sharing a card I made using some of the beautiful Glimmer Plates by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. Love the shine of these foils and when you match them up with Becca's amazing plates, you have one glimmery and beautiful card.

I stared with Emmeline Treillage dies as the base of my card. I then used the Foil Flowers Glorious Glimmer Plates to make the flowers and leaf sprigs. I used the Rose Gold, Pink and Green Foils.

I then used the Happy Birthday plate from the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates. For that, I used the Matte Gold Foil.

Using the Glimmer Hot Foil System is too fun! And it's super easy! I keep looking for things to foil! :) You can find all of Becca's gorgeous glimmer plates and more, HERE!

Have a wonderful day!

Introducing Glorious Glimmer Blog Hop

All that glimmers may well be gold!  Hi there, today we are sharing with you a wonderful new tool - Spellbinders Glimmer Machine.  In a nutshell, it's an accessory to your die cut machine that will let you add foil motifs to materials from paper to vellum to leather to wood to fabric and more.  The machine employs heat and pressure along with metal stamps (Glimmer Plates) to transfer foil to a surface - like cardstock.  The Glimmer Plates work just like rubber stamps and in addition to transferring foil, they can transfer ink, they can letterpress and they can deep emboss.  Some of the sets feature both plates and dies!

Adding layers of gold or colored foil motifs creates an extra dimension to the sweet cards you send in life. This is a game changer for elegant cards!  Crafters are finally able to get that professional printer look, but at home and for way less than engaging a printer to do foil.  I like to think that the glimmer plates will make instant backgrounds and borders, but now there's a new thing to include in your pretty layers!

About Glorious Glimmer
Becca jumped at the opportunity to create a set of classic, never go out of style plates for the new Glimmer Machine.  Glorious Glimmer has that sweet calligraphic look that has been popular throughout the ages.  Whether used as a background, framed or layered up with a sweet die cut peeking out from underneath, these plates have options that will allow you to highlight them beautifully in any project.

Join us for our blog hop where we will show you some inspiration on crisply transferred foil that spans from a clean look to a more involved elegant look!! Also today we have the pleasure of introducing a new Creative Team Member.  Please welcome Ewelina Panka - you have seen and have swooned over her work before.  She creates classic beauty on her ----> Blog as well as on her ----> Facebook and on her ----> Instagram.  Please be sure to subscribe to her in each of these areas and watch as she dazzles with her fine eye for detail as well as her magnificent flowers!

My Projects For Today.

Here is what the plate actually looks like.

I love this plate because it can be used in so many ways for so may different occasions. For my card, I used the center swirl as a snowflake for a Winter themed Thank you card. But you can use it any way you like or just use the larger circle. The possibilities are endless with this one! I also used the Elegant Occasion Sentiments Plates along with the Silver and Teal Foils. Look at all that shimmer!!

Second up is the Elegant Foil Seals Plates - GLP-039

Here are what these plates look like.

Elegant Foil Seals Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil Classic Plates by Becca Feeken

These are super fun to work with. They go great on cards and would also be great to use on the back of an envelope. And it even comes with the die to cut the seals out.

I used the Matte Silver Foil from the Gold and Silver Variety Pack along with the Pink Foil.

♥ Shabby, Vintage Christmas Garland ♥

Can you believe only 39 more days to go until Christmas ?! It's coming fast! I keep seeing paper garlands on Instagram so I decided to make one myself only with a little twist! Of course. I used some fabulous dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders to make mine!

I added mine to a tree for the pics but I think I'm actually going to put it on my mantel. We shall see! It will look pretty on either. I used a few different Die sets to make it. I used the Charming Christmas Boughs Etched Dies, the Charming Snowflake Doily Etched Dies, the Yuletide Snowflakes Etched Dies and the reindeer and JOY cutout from the Charming Round Tag Etched Die Set.

After layering and gluing them all together, I added lots of pearls and vintage buttons to them. I then hot glued a piece of twine to the backs of them and then tied them to a string of Large pearls (Michaels). I added the snowflakes in between the larger die cuts.

It was so fun and easy to make. And as long as you pack it correctly, it can be enjoyed year after year.

You can find all of Becca's Dies HERE!

Have a wonderful day!
