♥ Spring Cheer ♥ JRC#115

Well, it has snowed here again! No school again! Cold, polar vortex air, AGAIN! So this is why I made not 1 but 3 creations for the current JustRite Friday Challenge, Spring Cheer! ;) It is to use a colorful, Spring palette!

Not that I'm complaining, I actually really like the snow and especially when school is closed for a snow day and my son wakes up with a big smile on his face! But it is nice to create with the pastel colors of spring! For this first card, I used the Hydrangea Vintage Labels Seven Clear Stamp Set. Love that gorgeous flower stamp! The dies are JustRite's Vintage Labels Two Dies.

On this card, I used the adorable Welcome Spring Clear Stamp Set. This set has so many cute little bunnies, pretty sentiments and adorable labels! I stamped the bunny onto some kraft cardstock and trimmed it out. I then stamped it again onto some white cardstock and then trimmed out just the ribbon and bow and then adhered it over the kraft bunny for some added dimension. I also used the JustRite Vintage Labels Two Dies, Spellbinders Oval and Fantastic Flourish Dies. The papers are from the Melissa Frances Classic Elegance 6x6 Pad.

And finally, I made a Spring tag! I also used the Welcome Spring Set on this as well as the same Melissa Frances papers. Love that sentiment!

♥ JustRite Friday Challenge #110 ♥

Hi there! I hope you all are having a wonderful day so far! Just stopping in with a card I made for the current JustRite Friday Challenge, Bleach Stamping Technique. This is not the first time I have done this technique and it is really fun and easy. It makes a card look very different and unique. You can find the tutorial on it HERE.

I used JustRite's The Scoop Vintage Labels Four Clear Stamp Set for my card. I first stamped the Vanilla Label onto a piece of black cardstock using embossing ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then "colored" the image with some bleach and a brush. The bleach against the black cardstock gives it a cool, aged look.

I then stamped the cone in 2 parts. First I stamped the bottom cone part onto a piece of kraft paper using Tea Dye Distress Ink. I then heat embossed that with clear embossing powder. I then colored in the image with bleach and then used some Distress Markers to finish the cone. I then stamped the ice cream part of it onto a piece of pink cardstock using clear embossing ink and then heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. I then "colored" that in with bleach and then left it like that. The pink cardstock shows on the "edges" and the white part is bleached. Looks really cool irl! :)

There is still plenty of time for you to join this challenge and try a new technique or 1 you haven't done in a while! Just visit the JustRite Inspiration Blog!!

Have a "Sweet" Day!

♥ JustRite Friday Challenge #108 ♥

Hi there peeps!! Just wanted to stop in with a card I made for the current JustRite Friday Challenge. This time it is to use this sketch! Love the simplicity of it, yet you could use it many different ways!

I decided to just use it as is, pretty much. Couldn't wait to use the Christmas Gifts Vintage Labels Two Cling Stamp Set by JustRite. I also used the Vintage Labels Two Die Set by JustRite as well. Love that vintage "Toy Emporium" label! Too cute!!

The Vintage Toy Label goes perfectly with that vintage toy paper by Pink Paislee from the City Sidewalks line.

You still have until tomorrow evening to get your card in for this challenge!! Just visit the JustRite Blog for details!!

Have a wonderfully sweet day!!

♥ Suddenly Spring ♥ JRC#093

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your day is going well! I spent the entire morning doing laundry and still unpacking from our trip to Vermont last week. So I had FUN!! Not! Today is a little chilly out but very sunny. Yesterday was gorgeous! It was "Suddenly Spring"! It was so bright and sunny and you didn't need a jacket at all. Today, the jackets are back on! :( I can't wait for warm days!!

The warm weather yesterday definitely got me in the mood to play along with the current JustRite Friday Challenge..."Suddenly Spring". It is to create a Spring inspired card using pastels, flowers and butterflies. No problem here with that one! ;) I used the beautiful Botanical Butterflies Clear Stamp Set by JustRite. Love those pretty butterflies. I stamped the Butterfly on the front using 2 different inks.

My card base was made using the A2 Filigree Delight Dies by Spellbinders. So gorgeous! And I also used the Opulent Ovals Dies, the Gold Labels Four Dies and the Stately Circles Dies as well. The butterfly on the inside was colored in with some soft pastels. I finished off the card with some pearls and light pink satin ribbon.

♥ Make it Pop! ♥

♥♥ For today's Simon Says Stamp Post, please scroll down! Thank you! ♥♥

When I saw the current challenge at the JustRite Inspiration Blog, I knew I had to make something for it! It is to "Make it Pop" and also make it a Birthday card. (Happy Belated Birthday Sheri!) I love using dimensional adhesives on my cards to make them "pop". So I broke out one of my favorite Go To Stamps of all time, Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty by JustRite. Love this beautiful and versatile set! I placed some foam dots behind the labels and butterflies to make them come off the card a bit

I paired the stamps with some gorgeous shabby papers from the Iralamija Etsy Shop. I also used some Spellbinders Labels Twenty Dies, a Prima Crystal Heart and some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

You still have a few hours left to join the JustRite "Make it Pop" Challenge!

Have a wonderful night!!

Just stopping in with a quick hello and a card for you! I was inspired to make this using the current JustRite Friday Challenge, "Three's Company". It is to create a card using at least 3 coordinating patterns.

I used some gorgeous digi papers by Iralamija. She has so many wonderful shabby chic papers! And the beautiful stamp set by JustRite called Kindness Cling Set. Such an amazing stamp set! My Go-to one!!

I also used some Liquid Pearls, satin and paper roses, punched butterflies and some hand dyed seam binding.

I hope you all have a super weekend!!

♥ Give flight to your DREAMS ♥ {JRC #079}

Love the current challenge at the JustRite Inspiration Blog. It is called "Opposites Attract" and it is to use complimentary colors using a Color Wheel. You are to use colors that are opposite each other on the wheel. You can also use any color range from light to dark.

So for my card, I used my favorite color combo pinky mauve and green. And I used one of my favorite JustRite Stamps called Botanical Butterflies.

For a fun twist to just a matted scalloped circle, I added some die cut banners from the Vintage Label and Banner Dies Set behind the scalloped circle.

The papers used are from the new My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Line called Lavender. Love these sweet papers!

Thank you for your always sweet comments! I cherish every single one of them!! Don't forget to check out my latest giveaway!! :)

Have a great day!

Christmas in August?? Well, ok I'm a little late for the "Christmas in July" challenge at the JustRite Inspiration Blog! (Not really, it ends tomorrow!) I actually made it in July though but I am just getting around to posting it today! hehe

I wanted to make a Christmas Pocket Card using the JustRite Deck the Halls Cling Set and a Simple Stories Memorabilia Pocket. I love pocket cards for Christmas. They are just perfect for money or gift cards as well as a fun, interactive card.

I colored in the ornament using pastel chalks as well as lots of glitter and some Liquid Pearls.

The paper and cute flags and chevron stickers are all by My Mind's Eye from the new All is Bright line. ♥ {I will be having a Christmas Giveaway shortly for this amazing line as well as some other goodies! Stay Tuned!}
