♥ Simon Says...Choose A Sketch! ♥ (My Winner too!)

We have a fun challenge for you this week at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! We have not 1 but 2 fabulous sketches for you to choose from by our own Dawny! (See below)

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing stamps by Art Impressions. You don't have to use them but if you do have them, we would love to see them! I chose to use this cute Easter Chicks Stamp on Sketch No. 1.

I colored in the image with some Copic markers, glitter and White Opal Liquid Pearls. The papers I used are from the Carta Bella So Noted 6x6 Paper Pad. The "hello chickie" sentiment is from the C.C. Designs Eggstra Special Sentiments Set. I also used some Spellbinders dies, Classic Scalloped Circle and Decorative Labels 1.

♥ Crafty Secrets Easter Box ♥

Hi there everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Friday was our son Antonio's 7th Birthday. How quickly they grow up! He is such a sweet, kind, loving and fun little boy! He always puts other people before himself! How many 7 year old boys do that?! He is an angel from above that has blessed us all in so many ways! Both of our children are gifts from God and we thank him everyday for them. Happy 7th Birthday Antonio!

Easter will be here in a few short weeks. I love making little boxes on holidays to give little gifts inside of. It's like a gift within a gift! I altered a paper mache' box with some beautiful papers by Crafty Secrets from the Radiant Paper Collection.

I then added a small Melissa Frances birds nest to the top and then added some Victorian Floral Easter Eggs and Pretty Vintage Easter Eggs to the inside of the nest.

I then finished it off with some die cut branches, punched branches, flowers, seam binding, pom pom trim and a tag made from the Happy Easter Stamp Set.
