♥ Simon Says...Lemon and Lavender ♥

That is the name of this weeks challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! Use the colors lemon and lavender. (Of course, any shade of yellow or lavender will work!)

This week the Simon Says DT got to play with Penny Black stamps. I chose this adorable stamp called "Kickin' Teddy". Notice the little lemon slice in his drink! ;) I colored him in with some Copics and added some Liquid Pearls in White Opal. I also added some Martha Stewart punched butterflies, a Prima Rose, buttons and of course some ribbon.

♥ My Favorite {Shabby} Things! ♥

That is the name of this week's theme over at The Shabby Tea Room..."My Favorite Things!" It is to use your favorite papers and embellishments on your card/project! How fun is that one!

Well, you all know by now, I'm sure, that one of my FAVORITE paper companies is The Girls Paperie. So of course, I had to use some of their papers on my card! I also used some of my favorite trims and ribbon, my favorite punch, the small MS butterflies and one of my new favorite things, Liquid Pearls. Can you believe I just tried them for the first time about a month ago! They are awesome!! What did I ever do without them?!! LOL And that adorable image is called You've Got Mail and it is a Digi Stamp from Digi Doodle Shop.  (All the sentiments were printed out of MS Word onto cardstock. - Another one of my FAVE things to do!)

I used the very sweet Little Girl stamp set by Crafty Secrets for my card. I also used some of my all-time fave papers by The Girls Paperie and Melissa Frances. I also used some Liquid Pearls in White Opal. I used it to make the little pearls and on the background papers I "painted" some on.

♥ Classic Patterns ♥

That is the name of this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room... Classic Patterns. It is to use the gorgeous colors from the amazing inspiration photo and you must use either polka dots or gingham on your card.

For my card, I used both polka dots and gingham because they are both my favorite and I couldn't decide which one to use! hehe The DT all got to play with some gorgeous stamps by this week's sponsor, Joan's Gardens. I used the beautiful Bella Rose Vase by Heartfelt Creations. I colored it in with some Copics and added some glitter to the flowers and leaves. These stamps leave such a crisp and clean image! You won't be disappointed!

♥ Rock and Roll, PTI Style! ♥

This week's Make it Monday challenge over at the PTI blog, Capture the Moment, is to use the Rock and Roll Technique. That is to add dimension to stamped images with 2 colors of ink.

I used PTI's Garden Variety stamp set. Love this set! I also used the Seed Packet Frame die and adorable Picket fence die which I enclosed inside the packet with a piece of acrylic.

I used 2 different shades of pinks and greens on the flowers and grass on the background paper and inside the packet and 2 different colors of pinks and greens on the adorable hand tools.

I also used the current color challenge over at the CR84FN challenge blog. LOVE these beautiful colors together!

And I am also entering this into Papercraft Star's current challenge, to use the letters "S" "T" "A" "R" as inspiration. I used S for Stamps, T for Twine, A for Acrylic paint and R for Ribbon. How fun is that!!

 I used the bottom row across for my card, Shape, Ribbon and Sentiment. I used the adorable Lottie stamp by The Greeting Farm as well as some ribbon, Spellbinders Labels 3 die, a Melissa Frances rub-on and patterned paper, Liquid Pearls in White opal, a gem brad, hemp cord and glitter. The image was colored in using Copics.

♥ Pink Lemonade ♥

That is the name of this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room...Pink Lemonade! Love that title! The challenge is to use pink, green, neutrals and florals on your card/project.

This week's sponsor is Tiffany Doodles and the DT got to play with all their wonderful Digi stamps. I chose the adorable Teapot and Teacup set. It comes with the cute little teapot and teacup and also 2 sentiments.

I added a glassine bag on the inside of my card and inserted a teabag in it and the adorable teacup on the outside of it.

♥ Congrats Grad ♥

Hi Everyone! Just a quickie post today! This is a card I made for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. It is a graduation card that can be given to any special lady whether it's pre-school or college! I used papers by The Girls Paperie, some Spellbinders dies, glitter, Liquid Pearls, ribbon and the flower is made from some twisted ribbon.
