♥ Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #79 ♥

I must admit that when it came to die cutting onto fabric, mine never came out right. So therefore, I gave up! Then I saw this week's Make It Monday challenge to make Fabric Die Cuts and I thought I'd give it another go. After watching Melissa Phillip's video, I realized what I was doing wrong! I wasn't adhering cardstock to the back of my fabric before die-cutting it! What an easy solution! Why didn't I think of that?! (Thanks Melissa! ;)

So I decided to use one of my all time fave Papertrey Ink stamp sets, Garden Variety. I used the Seed Packet Frame Die to die cut onto some pink gingham fabric and then stamped right onto the fabric itself. Love having texture on cards! I will be using fabric on my cards a lot more often now!

I also used some Bazzill Basics Vintage Marketplace paper, lace trim, Liquid Pearls and Bakers Twine. I just ordered a bunch of new things from Papertrey Ink and I am waiting with baited breath for them to arrive!! {swoon} :)

Well, I am now in Party Mode! Sunday is Santino's 2nd Birthday party! So I am off to order balloons and go shopping! I can't believe my baby is turning 2! And don't forget, you still have time to enter my latest giveaway! But please no Candy Chasers!! :(

Have a great rest of your week!!

♥ Rock and Roll, PTI Style! ♥

This week's Make it Monday challenge over at the PTI blog, Capture the Moment, is to use the Rock and Roll Technique. That is to add dimension to stamped images with 2 colors of ink.

I used PTI's Garden Variety stamp set. Love this set! I also used the Seed Packet Frame die and adorable Picket fence die which I enclosed inside the packet with a piece of acrylic.

I used 2 different shades of pinks and greens on the flowers and grass on the background paper and inside the packet and 2 different colors of pinks and greens on the adorable hand tools.

I also used the current color challenge over at the CR84FN challenge blog. LOVE these beautiful colors together!

And I am also entering this into Papercraft Star's current challenge, to use the letters "S" "T" "A" "R" as inspiration. I used S for Stamps, T for Twine, A for Acrylic paint and R for Ribbon. How fun is that!!

I hope you all have a great day!

Hugs and much love...

♥ Grown with Love ♥ {Cracked Glass Technique}

This week's Make it Monday challenge at Nichole Heady's Papertrey Ink blog, Capture the Moment, is to use the cracked glass technique. This is alot of fun to do and very easy! You can see a How-To video HERE.

I used Papertrey Ink's new stamp set called Garden Variety as well as the new Seed Packet Frame and Picket Fence Dies. (LOVE these!) I stamped some grass and flowers "inside" the packet and then added several layers of clear embossing powder. I then put it in the freezer for a few minutes, took it out and then bent the paper back and forth to add the cracks. I then adhered the packet frame over it. SO FUN!

I also used some Girls Paperie paper, seam binding ribbon, mini roses, hemp cord, MS punched butterflies and some Liquid Pearls.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Hugs...
