♥ Shabby Polka Dots... A Tea Cottage ♥

This week I am your Hostess at The Shabby Tea Room and I chose the fun theme of Polka Dots! Just create a card and/or project with Polka Dots on it, enter it into our Polka Dots challenge and you could win a fabulous prize by our lovely sponsor this week, Creations by AR!

I made this adorable little Tea Cottage with the template by the same name by Creations by AR. This was sooo easy and fun to make! This template really is one of the most easiest templates I have ever done. Just imagine making a bunch of them and making a Christmas village! (Which is just what I might do!) Instead of filling it with tea bags, you can fill it with candy or even a battery operated tea light!

I made the chimney out of 2 wooden spools, that I painted and then glued together. I then added some hand made stick pins that I whipped up. The cottage even comes with that adorable little fence. The template comes in a choice of 2 files, SVG or PDF.

The papers I used are also digi and can be found HERE. I also used some Martha Stewart mini paper roses, a Melissa Frances keyhole and rub-on transfer, some string pearls, a punched heart made from Girls Paperie paper and some seam binding, which I also added some polka dots to using a Copic marker.

Here is the cottage filled with tea bags.

As mentioned above, this week's winner will receive 2 fabulous templates of your choice from Creations by AR! The templates there are AMAZING!!

And here is the inspiration photo that I chose for you all~

Don't forget to check out the rest of the AMAZING Shabby Girls too!

Oh, and one last thing, someone recently asked me what type of lighting I use when photographing my cards and stuff. I only use natural lighting. I set up near a door which lets in lots of light and photograph there. Hope that helps!! ;)

Have a wonderful day!!

Hugs...
