♥ Christmas Wonderland ♥

I can't believe it's only 37 days until Christmas? My favorite time of year! I LOVE to decorate my home for Christmas. I also love the smells of Christmas...the twinkling lights...the gathering of friends and family...making Christmas cards...but most importantly, I love to see the excitement and joy in my kids eyes. Nothing like it! Yesterday, my sweet husband surprised us with a 6 foot plus tall Santa I had been admiring in the store. I don't know who was more excited...me or my 7 year old! :)

 
I'm definitely in the holiday spirit for sure now! So why not make a Christmas card with some beautiful Spellbinders Dies by Amazing Paper Grace! For my card, I am using the Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large Etched Dies. Such stunning, intricate dies yet sturdy enough to use as the base for my card.

I die cut the Swirl Frame twice using dark green cardstock and patterned paper. I then adhered the patterned paper die cut over the green cardstock to give it some dimension.

I added lots of chunky glitter to all the edges with some Glossy Accents to give it a "frosty, icy" look. The papers are from the Sweet Peppermint Paper Pad by Prima.

♥ Dear Santa ♥

Woo-hoo! It's Fri-Yay! What are your plans for the weekend? Me. I have none. And that's a good thing! Just going to spend time with my kids and hubby, go to visit my mom and do some crafting! :)

                                            

This is a card I made with some sweet collages from the iralamija shop. Love that Santa image! It is from the Christmas Story Collage. There are 8 different, wonderful images in all.

I also used some papers from the Rudolph Backgrounds Collage and the sweet sentiments are from the Christmas Expressions Collage.

Using some Multi Medium Matte Adhesive from Ranger, I added some chunky glitter all around the edges of the papers and sentiments for an "icy" look.

♥ Christmas Wish ♥

Happy Saturday to you all! Can you believe it's only 47 days until Christmas? Where did this year go?! I have officially started my Christmas shopping and I hope this year, to have it done by December 1st! No more running out at the last minute for this girl! (Well, I hope so anyway!) I've also started to make lots of Christmas cards so they can be sent out on time too! I made this sweet Christmas card with some adorable collages from the iralamija shop on Etsy! There are so many shabby chic, vintage and traditional Christmas collages in the shop for you to choose from! You can see everything Christmas HERE!

  
For the background, I used the Big Neutral Backgrounds Collage and the sweet green and red papers are from the Rudolph Backgrounds Collage. The adorable Santa Post Card Tag, Reindeer  and No. 25 Tickets are from the Christmas Carol Collage.

And lastly, the "Christmas Wish" is from the Christmas Expressions Collage. So many sweet sentiments are in this collage!

♥ It's the most wonderful time of year ♥

It's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want to see...BLING! Think sparkly glitter, shimmery pearls, gold and silver embossing powders, etc.

The Simon Says DT are showcasing products by KaiserCraft this week! Love anything Kaiser!! Their new Yuletide line is full of wonderful vintage papers and images in beautiful traditional Christmas colors. And that's exactly what I used for my card this week. :) The Yuletide 6.5 x 6.5 Paper Pad and some of the Yuletide Collectibles Die Cut Shapes. I adore that Santa image and the gold embossed music paper!

And of course I "blinged" it up with some of Santa's Magic Dust aka Doodlebug Sugar Coating Glitter! ;) I also used some of Simon's Moonshine Sequins and a Hero Arts White Pearl.
