♥ Simon Says...A Hint of Pink! ♥

Hello there! We have a brand new challenge starting today at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme...A Hint of Pink

The Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Hero Arts! I am using the The Best Things Wood Stamp and some sweet Pale Pink Accent Pearls on my card. I love that sentiment!! So true!!

The papers I used are from the High Tea Paper Pad by KaiserCraft. I also used a Prima Wood Clock, large white rose, heart doily, lace and some die cut leaves from the SSS Forget Me Not Flower Die Set. When it was all finished, I sprayed the entire card with some Shimmer Spritz to give it a little sparkle.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ A BIG Hello! ♥

Hello there! I'm {finally} back! First, let me say Thank You so much for all of the condolences, cards, emails and messages I received for my mom's passing. It definitely helped get me through the worst and hardest time of my life. I still miss her more than anything and the pain is still there and probably always will be but I know she is in a wonderful place now and in no more pain. Second, I would like to give a HUGE Thank you to Heidi, Steph, Lols, the fabulous DT and everyone at Simon Says Stamp for being so lovely, patient and supportive to me all these months. You all are like an extended family to me and I will never forgot all you've done to help me get through this. You all are the BEST! {mwah} Now let's get back to work and this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! :)

♥ A Pink and Black Christmas ♥

♥♥♥ For today's Shabby Tea Room post, please scroll down! Thank U! ♥♥♥

When I first saw the current challenge at the CR84FN Color Challenge Blog, my first thought was something for a wedding or something with lots of flowers on it, just like on the inspiration photo. Then I thought "Oh, what the heck! Let's do a Pink, Black and White Christmas"!

Here is my card...

The Santa Bingo paper is by Simple Stories. The large Maya Road chipboard ornament is covered in Glitz Design paper and then smothered with chunky glitter. I hand wrote the tag and then added lots of white Liquid Pearls.

The punched snowflakes are made with some Jenni Bowlin paper and also smothered in glitter and pearls.

Finally, I added some string pearls, crocheted trim, satin ribbon, crystal snowflake and the "Merry Christmas" is from a Just Rite Stamp set called "Deck the Halls".

Hope you have a great night! Thanks for stopping by!!

♥ Pink Wedded Bliss ♥

This week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room is called "Pink Wedded Bliss". And there are not 1 but 4 lovely inspiration photos for you to choose from! Just make a card and/or project with a Wedding or Anniversary theme and the colors from the inspiration photos.

For my card, I used the beautiful Rose digi stamp from our wonderful monthly sponsor, Robyn's Fetish. I colored it in with some Copics and added some glitter for some sparkle. The gorgeous papers I used are new ones from Simple Stories called "Baby Steps". They are so beautiful!! (One of my new faves!)

I finished my card with some pink satin ribbon, a Jenni Bowlin stick pin, some punched MS butterflies, Rouge Liquid Pearls, black adhesive pearls, a paper doily and the stamped sentiment is from Studio G. This card could probably be used for both a Wedding or an Anniversary.

This week's challenge winner will receive 5 Digi Images of their choice from Robyn's Fetish!

Here is 1 of 4 inspiration photos for you!

♥ Love gives us a Fairytale... ♥

I love this Free printable sentiment that Papertrey Ink offered a couple of weeks back. "Once in a while in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairytale." So beautiful! Perfect for a wedding card, don't ya think?
I made this card for the new challenge over at The Kraft Journal. It is to use "bling" on your card along with Kraft paper. I love using Kraft paper, I don't know why I don't use it more often! Anywho, my card uses some beautiful paper from The Girls' Paperie, a Prima flower that I inked purple and added glitter to, a Prima crystal swirl, punched Martha Stewart butterflies. I first punched 2 in pink cs to use as my base, then I punched 2 in Kraft cs and added more bling to them. Finally, I finished it off with some pearls and pink satin ribbon.
I was also inspired by the following challenges:

~ Bearly Mine: Ribbon and Pearls
~ Truly Scrumptious: Swirls and Pearls
~ The Creative Cottage: Fabulous Florals
~ Ooh La La Creations: Pink, Pink and more Pink

Don't forget to enter into my giveaway HERE! Good luck!

Have a great weekend!

Hugs...
